Gold Mother - Legends and Myths

The legend of the Golden Mother, in Brazilian folklore, is a fireball that indicates the places where gold deposits are to be explored.

Sometimes, at dawn, this fireball would also turn into a beautiful woman in a long silk dress with golden hair reflecting light and flying through the air.

In some places in Brazil, it takes the form of a beautiful cave dweller, and after attracting men who abuse their wives, makes them leave their families, but tries not to let the woman suffer, and puts someone else in her path.
